This week I was focused on developing and refining my concept through making my zine. I found another interesting artist, Celia Pym, who restores old knitted garments. This tied in well with my new direction of family heritage and learned use practices passed down through generations. I decided to attempt darning my dad's old jumper that had some holes at the elbow and along the cuffs. I think that for my first attempt it worked out quite well. I found that it's best to use yarn with a matching thickness but contrasting colour.
